VORONEZH, July 14./ITAR-TASS Yuri Hotz /. In the coming days, the Novousmanskiy District Court will hand over to the citizen of Ukraine Nadezhda Savchenko, accused of complicity in the murder of two VGTRK employees, the procedural documents in her case translated into her native language. This was reported in the press service of the regional court.
The regional court considered the petition of Savchenko's defense against her in the form of arrest on July 10. Then the judge admitted that in the district court, where the arrest warrant was issued, Savchenko had not been served with copies of the protocol and procedural documents in Ukrainian. As a result, the materials were returned to the district court to eliminate the violations.
After Savchenko gets acquainted with all the documents translated into her native language, the regional court will again consider the appeal of her defense. “ This may happen within the next week, '' said the representative of the regional court.
At the same time, he did not rule out that after getting acquainted with the case materials, the accused will file an appeal against her arrest on her own behalf, joining her to the defense motion.
On July 9, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation indicted a citizen of Ukraine, Nadezhda Savchenko, of participating in the murder of two employees of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. She was detained on the territory of Russia and taken into custody. According to the investigation, during the hostilities in the Luhansk region in June of this year, Savchenko, being the operator-gunner of the Mi-24 helicopter, joined the Aydar battalion. Having learned the coordinates of the location of a group of Russian journalists from VGTRK and other civilians near Luhansk, she handed them over to the militants, after which a mortar attack was fired at these coordinates, as a result of which VGTRK employees Igor Kornelyuk and Anton Voloshin were killed.
