The professor clarified that vector vaccines against COVID-19, like Sputnik V and Jonson & Jonson, are based on human adenovirus serotype 26, which scientists have been working on for 30 years. “A bunch of vaccines were made there, they just didn’t go into series, because such frenzied protection is not particularly needed for [fever] Ebola,” Baranova added.
In addition, new matrix RNA vaccines, such like Pfizer and Moderna, were also familiar to the scientific community. “The new principle of vaccines has been described in the literature, model studies have been made,” said the doctor of biological sciences.
