TFR: a dead girl found in a Samara apartment was drowned by her own mother 
A four-year-old Russian woman who was found dead in a Samara apartment was drowned by her own mother. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) for the region.
“The body of the child was found by the owners of the living quarters. According to preliminary data, the cause of death was asphyxia due to drowning, ”the report says.
The woman was detained on December 2. She was charged under clause “c” of the second part of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder of a person, knowingly for the guilty person who is in a helpless state”).
The incident was reported on November 23. The owner of the rented apartment, with whom the mother of the child contacted, came to pick up the keys and money for the rent. Inside, he found a dead four-year-old girl, the mother herself was not there.
The police found out that the girl's mother had previously been convicted twice for fraud. Both times she received a suspended sentence.
