Moscow court arrested Rostokino OMVD chief Gotsulyak on suspicion of fraud Gotsulyaka on suspicion of fraud. This is reported by TASS.
He is charged with part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Fraud on an especially large scale”). The press service of the Moscow Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told the agency that the crime was committed at a time when the defendant was not an employee of the internal affairs bodies.
The police added that if Gotsulyak was found guilty, he would be fired and brought to justice responsibility under the law.
A TASS source in law enforcement agencies explained that the suspect may be involved in fraud and mediation in a bribe in the amount of 84.6 million rubles for helping to appoint the head or deputy head of the Federal Tax Service ( FTS) in the Samara region.
On December 1, the main investigation department of the Investigative Committee for Moscow opened a criminal case against Colonel Gotsulyak, chief of police for Rostokino, under two articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation: for fraud and mediation in a bribe. The next day, December 2, Gotsulyak was detained. In addition to the police chief, there are still unidentified persons in the case.
