Lukashenko: the government should deal with the issue of sanctions in a clear and military manner 
President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko demanded that anti-sanction measures. He stated this on Friday, December 3, at a meeting on socio-economic development, BelTA informs.
According to Lukashenka, the country has been preparing for new sanctions for at least six months, and an anti-crisis headquarters is operating in the Cabinet. “In general, the government should deal with these issues in principle, without red tape, clearly, in a military fashion,” he said.
On the eve of the migration crisis on the Polish-Belarusian border, the European Union adopted the fifth package of sanctions against Minsk. It included more than 25 individuals and legal entities, including the Belavia airline and the Grodno Azot and Belarusneft enterprises. New sanctions were also imposed by the United States and Britain.
The Belarusian Foreign Ministry promised to take “tough, asymmetric, but adequate measures” in response. Minsk stated that the goal of Western policy is to economically “strangle” the republic, to make the life of its citizens as bad as possible. “The pompous nonsense that is heard from the European tribunes, in this case, have nothing to do with reality,” the Foreign Ministry said.
