Rostec handed over simulators for training Mi-8AMTSh crews to the Russian Aerospace Forces

AOC is intended for theoretical training of flight personnel of the Mi-8AMTSh helicopter. The kit includes an instructor's seat, a set of workplaces, a server, a projector and additional equipment. The system allows individual and group lessons.

General Director of the Tekhnodinamika holding Igor Nasenkov noted that military units were also equipped with training systems for the Ka-52 and Mi-28N crews.

Previously Defense IQ analysts named the most popular helicopters in the world. The Mi-8 and Mi-17 family vehicles occupy 14 percent of the world helicopter fleet. This made it possible to take the second line of the rating, and topped the list with the multipurpose helicopter Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk.

In September, a TASS source in the military-industrial complex announced work on a new version of the Mi-8AMTSh. He noted that the helicopter will receive an electronic warfare system, which will allow the vehicle to disrupt the enemy's communications.
