The Communist Party of the Russian Federation assessed the criminal case against Rashkin with the phrase “it's not worth a damn”

The secretary of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Yushchenko said that the Rashkin case should end with a fine

Rashkin “is not worth a damn,” and the politician himself deserves only a fine. He gave such an assessment in a conversation with Gazeta.Ru.

As noted by Yushchenko, the party views the deputy's case as pressure on the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. According to him, they hope for an honest investigation.

“Rashkin has repeatedly applied to work with him directly, and he was ready to answer all questions without attracting such attention. We see this not as a criminal case against Rashkin, but pressure on the party, which showed good results in the elections, which supports the people, and which accumulates all the protest that excites the whole country, “the party secretary emphasized.

At the same time, he recalled the Communist Party's appeals to the Investigative Committee (IC) with a request to initiate a criminal case against LDPR chairman Vladimir Zhirinovsky in connection with his statements about the party.

Earlier it became known that the head of the IC of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, started a criminal case against the deputy of the State Duma from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Rashkin.

On November 25, the State Duma voted to deprive the politician of parliamentary immunity. This happened after Rashkin was detained in October in the Saratov region while driving a car, in the trunk of which the carcass of a dead elk was found.
