The final of the third season of the all-Russian competition “Digital Breakthrough-2021” has begun “Digital Breakthrough” – one of the flagship projects of the presidential platform “Russia – the Land of Opportunities.” p>
“Over the three seasons of Digital Breakthrough, more than a quarter of a million people have already taken part in this competition. Every year the number of contestants increases, this year it is already more than 100 thousand participants. This is extremely important. In 2020, at a meeting with business, President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin said that Digital Breakthrough was specially created in order to support the development of the best specialists in the country, and most importantly, to provide such a platform for interaction and communication between government bodies and the largest Russian companies. and specialists in this area, “said Sergei Kiriyenko.
According to him, in the first season, the tasks were rather educational and competitive, and in the second and third, almost all the cases were real. They are represented by those who, indeed, will implement these decisions, Kiriyenko noted.
“This allows the project participants and the competition itself as a whole to really influence the changes in our life for the better. I would like to express my gratitude to the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media. Today, both the Russian government and the ministry are implementing a large-scale digital transformation program, which, without exaggeration, affects all regions of Russia, all ministries and departments, all companies operating in Russia. And this, in my opinion, opens up great opportunities for all participants in the competition and companies, because the state not only supports the development of the industry, but also sets a powerful volume of state orders in order to ensure, first of all, the digitalization of the public administration system. And this, it seems to me, gives a very good synergy for the joint work of the state, regional, federal executive authorities and large companies, both state and private, “stressed Sergei Kirienko.
The First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration also noted the importance of development of the community of IT professionals. In addition, Sergey Kirienko congratulated everyone on the beginning of the final of the third season of the competition.
Maksut Shadayev highlighted the important role of Tatarstan in the development of the digital economy in Russia.
“Tatarstan has traditionally been an example of the introduction of digital technologies and has become a starting point for changes in the industry and solving the most difficult problems of institutional change and personnel training. Innopolis plays an important role in the formation of the IT community. It's great that Digital Breakthrough makes it possible to bring together representatives of business, government agencies, universities, associations and specialists on one site. This is a great opportunity to talk informally about where we are going, what pain points are. I invite everyone to a dialogue and wish the participants successful work, exchange of knowledge, new discoveries, “Maksut Shadayev said.
Alexey Komissarov, General Director of the autonomous non-profit organization Russia – Country of Opportunities, noted the importance of creating a comfortable environment for talented IT -frames.
“Today it is critically important both for the state and for business to help retain talented IT personnel in Russia and create a comfortable environment for them. Digital Breakthrough is an excellent tool for building a competent IT community of professionals. And it is our competitors who can rightfully be called the drivers of the development of digital technologies in Russia. During the seven months of the third season of the competition, the participants developed 879 solutions within the framework of thematic hackathons. I would like to separately note the tremendous work that the regional IT hubs have done and thank them for this. It is thanks to you that we were able to implement a hybrid hackathon format, involve IT specialists from all over the country in the project and expand the boundaries of the Digital Breakthrough. Today, here in Innopolis, there are representatives of regional IT hubs in Blagoveshchensk, Ulyanovsk, Saratov, Orenburg, Ufa, Dubna, Cheboksary, Perm, Makhachkala, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Izhevsk, Veliky Novgorod, Kaliningrad, Ryazan, Petrozavodsk, Stavropol, Novorossiysk, Yaroslavl and many other cities. Thank you for your work and your huge contribution to the development of the competition, ”stressed Alexey Komissarov.
