According to experts, allergens and 53 types of mold contained in each tree cause headaches in humans. Allergy sufferers are very sensitive to plant and herb odors. The result is a cough, a runny nose, and possibly ear pain.

“A team of researchers from the Northern Medical University analyzed clippings from 28 Christmas trees, including needles and bark, of various types,” writes The Sun.

Earlier, the Russians were informed about the consequences of storing Christmas trees until spring. According to the rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, dried needles are an increased fire hazard.
