Lada sales in Russia fell 30.7% in November 2021

Sales of Lada cars and light commercial vehicles in Russia collapsed November by 30.7 percent (up to 26.4 thousand units), according to the website of AvtoVAZ.

“The situation with the supply of electronic components is gradually improving, but it is too early to predict the exact timing of the end of this crisis,” – said the president of the Russian auto giant Nicolas Maure.

Following the results of 11 months, sales of AvtoVAZ showed positive dynamics, in January-November, 320.8 thousand cars were sold (plus 6 percent by 2020). In November, cars of the Vesta family were in the greatest demand, 9,035 thousand of them were sold.

Lada Granta is in second place (7,231 thousand), followed by Largus – the total sales of passenger versions and light commercial vehicles amounted to 5,037 thousand. According to the company, the brand retains its leading market share in Russia.

Since December 1, AvtoVAZ has raised prices for the entire Lada model range; on average, the cost of cars has grown by three percent. According to Drom, Lada Granta has risen in price by 28 thousand rubles, Lada Vesta – by 40 thousand rubles, and Lada Largus – by 32 thousand rubles. This is the seventh price increase this year.
