Libyan court reinstated Gaddafi's son as presidential candidate

Sebha City Court in Libya reinstated Gaddafi's son in the lists of presidential candidates al-Islam in the lists of candidates for the presidency of the country. This is reported by TASS.

On November 15, the Libyan Supreme Election Commission refused to allow Seif al-Islam to participate in the presidential elections. The electoral committee referred to the “undermining of stability” and indicated that they had rejected the candidacy of the dictator's son due to the closure of a number of commission offices.

On November 14, Gaddafi's son announced his desire to compete for the opportunity to lead Libya. At the same time, in August it was reported that the Libyan prosecutor's office issued an arrest warrant for Seif al-Islam Gaddafi. It was noted that he was suspected of having links with Russian mercenaries.
