State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Valery Rashkin, who was deprived of immunity, said that he would testify in the framework of the criminal case initiated against him. He gave such a comment in a conversation with News.ru.
According to the politician, the situation has already been “ground up” and the country has been raised up, as if there are no other problems. In addition, the deputy added that he would work with the investigator.
Rashkin called for calm, as investigative actions are already underway.
Earlier it became known that the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, started a criminal case against a State Duma deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Rashkin.
On November 25, the State Duma voted in favor of depriving Rashkin of parliamentary immunity. This happened after the politician was detained in October in the Saratov region while driving a car, in which the carcass of a dead elk was found.
