The message about the closure of the children's department of the hospital in the Tula region was denied

The Ministry of Health of the Tula Region denied the data on the closure of the department of the Novomoskovsk hospital No. 1 city clinical hospital No. 1, denied in the Ministry of Health of the region.

The primary source of data was a post published on the morning of November 30 in the public “Uzlovaya | Not Rumors “of the social network” VKontakte “. The publication states that the neurological department of the Novomoskovsk City Clinical Hospital No. 1 on Ryazanskoye Highway was closed.

According to the author of the post, the neurological department was closed not for repairs or quarantine, but “in order to save money on sick children.” “They thought that it was much more economical to shove them (sick children – approx.” Lenta.ru “) in different departments: pediatrics, cardiology, trauma, and so on,” he writes.

At the same time, the publication does not specify where this information came from. Also, the author of the note was silent when the department of the Novomoskovsk hospital was closed. The credibility of the message raises doubts about the fact that the author of the post chose to remain anonymous.

In a comment under the publication, one of the users asked who was the source of the data on the closure of the children's neurological department and how verified they are, but never received an answer to the question.

On the same day, an official comment of the Ministry of Health of the Tula Region appeared under the publication. “Hello! The children's neurological department continues to function normally, “the message says.

The data on the closure of the children's neurological department were also denied in the media. The Tula Novosti publication published on the evening of November 30 a statement by the press service of the Ministry of Health: “The neurology department at branch No. 1 of the Novomoskovsk City Clinical Hospital continues to work as usual. All necessary examinations are being carried out, patients are monitored by a specialized neurologist. ”

Information about the closure of one of the departments of the Novomoskovsk City Clinical Hospital No. 1 was not widely disseminated in the media. Nevertheless, this message appeared in some regional publications, for example, in the “Tula news service” and “Tula press”. Both publications referred in their notes to the corresponding post on VKontakte and later published denials of the authorities.

False information about the Novomoskovsk city hospital practically did not spread on social networks. So, in “VKontakte” about the closure of the children's neurological department, they wrote only in the public “Hello, Novomoskovsk!” One of the users in a comment under the post cited a refutation of the Ministry of Health.
