The last defendants in the case of the terrorist attack in Znamenskoye will go to trial

Investigators have completed the case of three participants in the terrorist attack in Znamenskoye on trial. The completion of the investigation was reported to Lente.ru by the Investigative Committee of Russia.

Rustam Buluev, Ruslan Namatov and Artur Ushaev, depending on the role of each, were accused of participating in a gang, committing a terrorist attack, kidnapping, encroachment on the life of an employee law enforcement agencies, attempted murder of two or more persons and illegal arms trafficking.

According to investigators, no later than 2002, Supyan Arsanakayev and Viskhan Zaitov created a gang in Chechnya, which included the defendants. Buluyev was serving in the local internal affairs bodies at that time.

On July 13, 2005, Arsanakayev, Zaitov, Tuntuev, Namatov and Buluev kidnapped a local resident, killed, dressed in military uniform and put in a car filled with explosives. p>

On July 19, 2005, the attackers parked their car on one of the residential streets in the village of Znamenskoye. So that there were as many victims as possible, Buluev opened fire. After waiting for a large crowd of people, including employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the FSB of Russia, Zaitov set off the bomb using the remote control.

14 people were killed. Another 10 Interior Ministry officers and 26 civilians were injured.

Buluyev, Namatov and Ushaev are the last defendants in the case of the terrorist attack. Earlier, Agamerzaev, Vitrigov and Tuntuev were sentenced to terms.

Arsanakaev and Zaitov were liquidated by security forces.
