The country's authorities have decided to postpone simplifying the rules for entering the country. In particular, the time of self-isolation will not be reduced – Russian tourists coming to Thailand under the sandbox program will also have to be quarantined for seven nights.
Nevertheless, the decision to replace the second PCR test (which must be done on the 4-5th day of stay in Thailand) for the express test remains valid. It is also still allowed to enter the country of travelers who have had coronavirus within three months before the trip.
It is clarified that the rest of the conditions for entering Thailand remain the same – vacationers must have a vaccination certificate, insurance with coverage of 50 thousand dollars ( about 3.7 million rubles), PCR test for no more than 72 hours and confirmation of payment for two additional tests upon arrival.
