Sberbank started testing the “green button”

Sberbank began testing a technology for helping visitors in emergency situations

Sberbank's offices began testing a technology for helping visitors in emergency situations. The Green Button will be located in the round-the-clock service areas of the bank's offices in Voronezh, St. Petersburg, Podolsk, Pskov, Orel and Yaroslavl. They contain stands with touch buttons that provide communication with the operators of the monitoring center of the bank's security service.

Having received a signal for help, the center operator can connect to the facility via voice communication. With the help of video surveillance cameras, he will assess the situation and, if necessary, call the police or an ambulance.

The “green button” can be used outside office hours if there is a threat to life or health. In other cases, employees of the bank branch are ready to help clients.

“One of the areas of our work in the field of ESG and sustainable development is concern for society. And human health as the highest value is its foundation. Therefore, the bank's task in the field of security is much larger than ensuring only the financial security of clients. This pilot project is timed to coincide with the 180th anniversary of Sberbank: we want the client to feel that his life and safety are our value when he comes to the bank, “said Stanislav Kuznetsov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank.
