Russian woman compared Batumi with Anapa and chose the best of the resorts

The tourist compared Anapa with Batumi and preferred the Russian resort

The Russian tourist visited the Black Sea in Batumi and Anapa and chose the best resort – the traveler gave preference to the domestic city. She told about her impressions on her personal blog on the Yandex.Zen platform.

The girl compared the two resorts on several points. First of all, the Russian woman speculated about the complexity of the trip to Georgia – she would have to get to Batumi by plane with a transfer through Turkey. In addition, to enter the country, you will need a passport and a negative PCR test. “To get to Anapa, you just need to buy a ticket,” the tourist explained.

Nevertheless, the author of the blog admitted that it is difficult to find cheap housing in Anapa in the summer: the cost of apartments in the private sector starts from 2-3 thousand rubles per day. In Batumi, the girl managed to rent a house within a 10-minute walk from the sea in the high season for $ 400 a month (about 29 thousand rubles).

On the other hand, the Russian woman noted that food prices in Georgia from 2020 have doubled, while in Anapa there are many canteens where you can order an inexpensive set menu. However, the situation with food prices on the market is reversed.

“In Batumi, even at the height of the season, prices for tomatoes, peaches and cherries did not go beyond 100 rubles. In Anapa, this is the problem. Local residents constantly complain that all summer they cannot buy fruits and vegetables at good prices, because sellers inflate the cost of goods because of tourists, “the author of the blog shared.

The girl emphasized the cleanliness and quality of infrastructure more in Anapa. According to her, the Russian city is becoming more and more modern, there are a large number of all-inclusive hotels. At the same time, there are more interesting places for walks and photos in Batumi.

“There are pebbles in Batumi, and sand in Anapa. The water is cleaner in Batumi. In Anapa, the sea “blooms” from algae, but the beaches are longer and wider than the Batumi ones. This means that there are more places here, “the traveler assessed the state of the beaches.

As a result, the Russian woman awarded the victory to Anapa. The Russian resort won out of 10 points with a score of 7: 5.

Earlier in November it became known that another Russian tourist had a rest in Anapa in the fall and described the resort with the phrase “it smells like a public toilet.” Most of all, the traveler was outraged by the dirty “blooming” sea, which is not cleared.
