Russian sued money for “humiliating situation” in the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

The Petersburg resident sued the Ministry of Internal Affairs for 39 thousand rubles for four hours spent in the department without pants 39 thousand rubles for the fact that the police forced the detained Russian to sit in the department without pants. The man was released after 4.5 hours. All this time, as noted in the court, he spent “in a very humiliating position, without pants.”

The Russian estimated his losses at 55 thousand rubles, and moral damage at a million rubles. The court partially satisfied his demands, collecting 35 thousand rubles from the department, spent by a Petersburg citizen on a lawyer, and a state fee of more than two thousand rubles. Moral damage, according to the court's estimates, also amounted to two thousand rubles.
