In Chelyabinsk, a Bombardier CRJ-200 aircraft skidded off the runway during landing
In Chelyabinsk, a Bombardier CRJ-200 passenger aircraft to land, skidded out of the runway (runway) at a distance of about 20-25 meters, Dmitry Zakharov, an official representative of the Central Interregional Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) on transport, told Lente.ru.
The Russian plane of the airline “UVT Aero” was flying from the city of Kazan. Onboard there were 32 passengers and three crew members. No casualties, no visible damage to the aircraft.
Due to this incident, the airport temporarily does not accept flights.
Investigators of the Central Interregional Transport Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation are conducting an inspection, all circumstances of the incident are established. Based on the results of the check, a procedural decision will be made.
Earlier it was reported that the Sukhoi Superjet, when landing at the Norilsk airport, rolled out of the runway at a distance of approximately 30 meters. It is specified that the incident occurred on Wednesday, November 24, on the flight Chelyabinsk – Norilsk. There are no casualties.
