FSB seized 353 firearms from 85 clandestine gunsmiths

The FSB liquidated 17 clandestine weapon conversion laboratories

The FSB detained 85 clandestine gunsmiths operating in Russia. TASS reports about this on Wednesday, December 1, with reference to the DSP of the FSB of Russia.

According to the agency, the detainees were engaged in restoring the combat properties of civilian weapons, altering them and selling them. In total, 17 underground workshops were liquidated, where ammunition was produced and combat characteristics were improved. 353 units of foreign and domestic weapons were seized. The special operation took place in cooperation with the FSB, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian Guard.

On November 12, it was reported that in Novosibirsk the FSB detained Russians who had created an underground weapons workshop in the garage.
