A taxi for anti-vaccination users appeared in Kazan
A taxi for anti-vaccination users appeared in the capital of Tatarstan after the introduction of mandatory QR codes for public transport. Gazeta.ru reports on the mechanism of such a ride.
Drivers began to pick up those who were not allowed into public transport without a QR code. On the streets, you can stop the car using a conventional sign – a raised hand and a mask on it. “Everything went online very quickly: chats appeared in Telegram, where motorists began to indicate the route of their trip, and passengers – to agree with them about the time and place of meeting,” said a resident of the Russian city.
Each district of Kazan has its own chat room, and the audience of such communities ranges from 100 to 11 thousand people. At the same time, one of the residents of the city said that at present the conductors no longer insist on presenting a QR code, but simply specify whether it exists or not.
One of the “taxi drivers” noted that chat rooms appeared spontaneously and became popular thanks to word of mouth. “Usually no one asks for money for a trip. If I am offered some amount, I do not refuse, but I do not demand it myself. In recent days, I began to specially commute to work not in the usual way, but along the bus route: for a trip I let three or four people fail, ”the driver said and added that sometimes he negotiates the time and place with a person in a chat and can even wait for a fellow traveler if he is late
Vice-President of the National Automobile Union (NAS) Anton Shaparin said that taxis for anti-axers will soon disappear, since it is more convenient for people to travel by public transport, and not to adjust to someone else's schedule. According to the expert, this service will lose popularity after the very first criminal incident. In addition, the traffic police can start working with drivers. If the trip is carried out for a fee, then the volunteer may even be fined for illegal business activities and lack of a license.
Tatarstan became the first region in which QR codes were introduced for public transport. This measure began to operate in the region on November 22. QR codes have already provoked a number of conflicts – at the end of November, a resident of Kazan attacked a security guard in a shopping center and stabbed him in the arm after he asked him to show proof of vaccination. Later, the offender was detained and taken to the territorial police department.
