The head of the Main Directorate of the interior Ministry to combat extremism, major General Timur Valiulin may soon be dismissed, have informed “Interfax” a source familiar with the situation.

“Valiulin may soon leave office,” he said.
We will remind, mister Valiullin was appointed to this position in September 2012. Previously, he was head of the Centre to combat extremism of the Moscow Central Directorate of police. Timur Valiulin is in the list of persons against whom the Ministry of Finance of the USA led sanctions.
