Canadian Illustrator and designer David Irwin collects old light bulbs and turns them into a Christmas tree decoration in retro style.

Irwin uses acrylic paint, paper and colored ribbons. Through his works, the artist shares in social networks.

Irwin lives in the canadian city of Brampton just outside of Toronto. Art and decor he did in 2004, when he noticed a beautiful wooden table, discarded by the neighbors, and tried to reconstruct it. The result was so impressive that the loonie continued to improve in this skill and soon opened his own business on the reconstruction of furniture. For their achievements in 2011 he was recognized by the city authorities artist of the year.

The idea with Christmas balls also came to him by accident. Once the artist gave to his wife Noreen for Christmas Christmas decorations made from old light bulbs. David drew on her fairy creature Celtic pixie with a lantern in his hand. Since then, Irwin creates and sells Christmas decorations every year.
