The President asked Rogozin to head “Rosatom”
Moscow. May 24. INTERFAX.RU — Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested that former Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin to head the state Corporation “Roscosmos”.
In the previous government Rogozin, Vice-Premier responsible for military-industrial complex and space industry, and was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of “Rosatom”. Formed may 18, the Cabinet of Ministers it was not included.
The President pointed out Rogozin on the need to strengthen the team of the Corporation. “We have to see, in particular, to strengthen the team so that in fact an entire industry was led by people who know how it works. It should also be specialists of a high level”, — said Putin.
GK “Rosatom” up to the present time headed by Igor Komarov, who became the CEO of the state Corporation in August 2015, and before that for six months he was the head of the Federal space Agency, part of the government of the Russian Federation.
