In Russia will introduce an environmental tax on disposable tableware
PRIOZERSK (Leningrad region), may 5 — RIA Novosti. The government plans to introduce in 2019 environmental tax on disposable dishes, told reporters on Saturday, the special representative of the President of the Russian Federation on issues of environmental activities, environment and transport Sergei Ivanov.
“People are buying disposable barbecues, go on nature and leave them. It is necessary to introduce a conservation fee from the manufacturers of such disposable things. And, I tell you, next year it will be introduced”, — said Ivanov.
On Saturday, Ivanov arrived in Leningrad oblast on the shore of lake Ladoga to attend the annual ecological action “Clean beach”, organized under the auspices of the Ministry of emergency situations of the Russian Federation. Along with participation in the garbage collection took the head EMERCOM of Russia Vladimir Puchkov. He supported the initiative of Ivanov.
