A postage stamp for the inauguration of Putin will appear in circulation on 7 may
MOSCOW, may 3 — RIA Novosti. A postage stamp for the inauguration of Russian President Vladimir Putin will go into circulation on 7 may, the message says “Mail of Russia”.
The stamp with the inscription “may 7, 2018 Vladimir Putin assumed the position of President of the Russian Federation” depicts the Spasskaya tower and the Senate Palace of the Moscow Kremlin. Stamp size is 37×37 mm, denomination — 22 rubles, it is published in an edition of 252 thousand copies and will be available in the branches of “Mail of Russia”.
The postage stamp will be produced thematic envelope and a special issue postmark of the first day for Moscow and St. Petersburg. Anyone can put a stamp on the stamps in the offices of “Mail of Russia” in Moscow Myasnitskaya str, 26 and in St. Petersburg on Pochtamtskaya str., 9.
The postage stamp dedicated to the inauguration of Vladimir Putin in 2012, was a picture of the chain and the emblem of the President of the Russian Federation. Its value amounted to 15 roubles.
The election of Dmitry Medvedev President of the Russian Federation and its accession to that position in 2008, was also dedicated a commemorative themed stamp. It was released on 7 may 2008 nominal value of 7 rubles. The stamp was a picture of the flag and coat of arms, and the inscription reads: “March 2, 2008 the President of the Russian Federation elected Dmitry Medvedev”.
