In Moscow, opened Christmas bazaars

The first Christmas markets opened in Moscow on Friday, December 15, massively the point of sales of softwood will start to work since December 20th. This was stated by the Minister of consumer market and services of the region Vladimir Posazhennikov. His words are quoted by the correspondent of”.ru”.

“According to the local authorities, the expected number of places will be ongoing coniferous — 420, over 100 of which will operate as part of the Christmas fairs in the territories of municipal formations”, — said the Minister.

On Christmas markets will be represented pine and spruce from Kostroma, Kirov, Tver, Bryansk, Vladimir, Penza and Tambov regions, the Perm territory, as well as suburban pines of of Serpukhov, and Kashira. In addition, residents will be able to purchase softwood from Denmark, the Netherlands, Ecuador and Canada, said the press service of the Ministry.

Average price per meter of pine this year amounted to 250 rubles, spruce will cost 400 rubles per meter. Foreign trees are 3.5 times more expensive. “Christmas bazaars will work in each municipality. With the largest number of such non-stationary trading objects in Shchelkovo district, which will be organized by 46 outlets,” — said Posazhennikov.

On 12 December the Minister of social development of the region Irina Raevska reported that on the eve of New year and Christmas in the suburbs will spend more than 1.5 thousand of festive events, which will be attended by about 680 thousand children.
