The Ka-52K

Design and construction of two helicopter carrier based air group which will be marine helicopters Ka-52K “Katran” has already been included in the draft of the new state armaments program until 2025. It is planned that the first will be about 2022, and will cost about 40 billion roubles (taking into account all stages of the development, construction and testing).
The new amphibious ships will have diesel-gas turbine installation in which the diesel main engine, and the turbine is required to boost capacity. In addition to “Katranov” the ships will be based Ka-27, Ka-29 and Ka-31 (radar picket helicopter, and another marking — Ka-35. — Approx. TASS).
As told at the VIII International Maritime defense show (IMDS-2017) in St. Petersburg, the Director General of Nevsky design Bureau Sergey Vlasov, landing ship of the new generation, created for the Navy of the Russian Federation, is under design study and has already created several versions of such ships.
