Relatives of defendants convicted in the murder of opposition politician Boris Nemtsov filed a complaint to the European court of human rights (ECHR). This was announced by the lawyers involved in the case after the announcement of Thursday’s verdict in the Moscow district military court, their words leads TASS.
“Violations was a huge amount, violated the right of defendants to protect” — argued that the action of the lawyer of one of defendants in the case, Anna Burciaga.
The defense noted that to put the point in this case is premature. After the announcement of the verdict will be appealed to the Supreme court of the Russian Federation. “Given the fact that the jury considered defendants not deserving indulgence, the punishment they will be assigned to the most severe,” suggested the lawyer Zaur Dadaev mark Kaverin.
Earlier on June 29, the jury returned a guilty verdict five defendants in the case about the murder of politician Boris Nemtsov. In the opinion of the Board, the crime was committed Zaur Dadaev together with Anzor and Shadid Gubarevym, Temirlan by Eskerhanova Khamzat by Bakievym and the late Beslan Shavanovym.
Boris Nemtsov was killed in Moscow on 27 February 2015. According to investigators, the alleged organizer of the assassination of Ruslan muhudinov, who is now wanted, suggested the killers of 15 million roubles for murder.
