Media: the Prime Minister of the UAE has ruled out a military scenario in case of failure of Qatar to meet the requirements

Minister of state for foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Anwar Gargash, said that the Arab countries do not intend to resort to coercive measures in case of failure of Qatar to fulfill a list of requirements. This was announced on Saturday by the TV channel Al Arabiya.
“We have no intentions to resort to military escalation, the alternative may be a branch of Qatar,” he said, noting that the neighboring Emirate, the Arab States “have the right for self-defense, if Qatar does not change its policy”. The diplomat stressed that a diplomatic way out of this situation remains a priority.
“We are still trying to resolve the crisis with Doha diplomatic way, he said. — What is happening is an attempt to stop the support of Qatar of terrorism and extremism”.
However, Gargash says that Doha is behind the leak to the media of the list of conditions for restoring relations, prepared by Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt and transferred to Qatar, under the mediation of Kuwait. Previously, several Arab countries have put forward 13 conditions for restoring ties with Doha. In addition, Qatar will need to pay countries to demand financial compensation, all the conditions for overcoming the crisis must be completed within 10 days.
