On 14 June it became known about introduction of the Ukrainian Parliament of the bill on completion of the ATO (anti-terrorist operation in Kiev called the fighting in the Donbass). The possible cancellation of the regime of anti-terrorist operation in Donbass a day earlier, said Secretary of national security Council and defense Oleksandr Turchynov. Later appeared in the media the text of the bill, allowing the President of Ukraine Poroshenko enter the Donbass martial law and use Armed forces “to restore the territorial integrity of the country.”
The armed conflict in the Donbass began in the spring of 2014 after the attempt of the new Kiev authorities the power to suppress speech in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The parties have repeatedly declared about the truce, however, to completely stop the fighting until now has failed. According to the latest published UN reports, the conflict killed more than 9.5 thousand people.
