The Governor of the Kemerovo region Aman Tuleyev himself needs to name his possible successor and give him control of the region. This opinion in an interview with “Tape.ru” stated the head of “Political expert group” Konstantin Kalachev.
In this case we will ensure a smooth line of succession, he said. “The arrival of the new Governor, if the money was publicly it was not blessed, will be a serious problem for the interim, and for the region”, — said the analyst.
The new head of the Kemerovo region have also set up a Federal center, said Kalachev.
According to him, the region has built a social support program for the poor that allows Tuleyev to maintain a high reputation among the population. For example, large families be given free of charge to small and large cattle, food, coal: “This paternalistic approach”.
On 22 June it was reported that Tuleyev who has undergone hours of surgery in a German clinic, will continue his rehabilitation in one of medical institutions of Kemerovo. According to doctors, hospital mode will not prevent him from working.

The newspaper “Kommersant” with reference to sources wrote that the reason for this was disease. The source claimed that Tuleyev wants to hold on to his post for 20 years — until July 1. The regional administration later said that the head of the region intends to meet its obligations until 2020.
Aman Tuleyev headed the Kemerovo oblast in 1997. In September 2015 he was elected head of the region for the fifth time, gaining more than 96 percent of the votes.
