Valery Faceeverytime: Fadeev intends to advance the position of the Public chamber in the state Duma
The Secretary of the Public chamber (OP) of the sixth convocation was the journalist Valery Fadeev, reports RIA Novosti.
He was selected in the first plenary session of the Majilis of the new convocation Monday, June 19. As reported by REN TV, his candidacy was the only advanced, it was approved unanimously.
On a post of the Secretary OP Fadeev has replaced Vyacheslav Bocharov.
Composition OP was formed in three stages. The original 40-member chamber approved the decree of the President of Russia, 84 were nominated from the regional public chambers, and 43 chosen from members of public organizations.
Fadeev became part of the OP in March 2017. Also he is a member of the High Council of “United Russia”. In the 1990-ies he worked in scientific institutions, has been the scientific editor of magazine “Kommersant-Weekly”, and in 1998 he headed the magazine “Expert”. He also led a public-political talk show “the Structure of time” on the First channel.
