Putin has appointed a new head of the traffic police
MOSCOW, 18 Jul — RIA Novosti. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has appointed Mikhail Chernikov, the chief of security of traffic of the Ministry of internal Affairs. The corresponding document was published on the official portal of legal information.
Earlier the General-the major of police Chernikov held the position of head of the interior Ministry in the Khabarovsk region.
The previous head of traffic police Lieutenant General of police Victor Nilov, the President was removed from office on March 29. A source familiar with the situation told RIA Novosti that the 62-year-old Neal was dismissed in connection with achievement of age limit of stay on civil service.
