The ideological split in Yabloko, Yavlinsky said
EKATERINBURG, 17 Jun — RIA Novosti. The head of the party “Yabloko” Grigory Yavlinsky said at the party conference in Yekaterinburg that the ideological split in the organization.
At the conference “the Apple” on Saturday was supposed to nominate to the post of the Sverdlovsk Governor. However, in the morning on the website of the Sverdlovsk branch of the party released a statement by its leader Yuri Pereverzev, in which he announced opposition to the candidacy of the mayor of Yekaterinburg Yevgeny Roizman, resignation and withdrawal from the party.
“I don’t see any split, an ideological split in our party, no. People occasionally come out of the party, we wish them all well. All — real people. Similar discussions are observed here and in other cities,” — said Yavlinsky.
Roizman said earlier RIA Novosti that his candidacy for the elections of the Governor of Sverdlovsk region from the “Apple” will be launched on June 19 in Moscow.
