Textbook list fall sharply after the Ministry of education will come to a balanced decision about the balance between the diversity of literature and its compliance with state standards. This was stated to journalists by the head of Department Olga Vasilyev, reports TASS.
According to Vasilyeva, the contents of the books “will be more in keeping with modern and classical ideas about the world, science and Russia”.
She said that in Soviet times textbooks were recommended by the Ministry of education only after testing in pilot schools. “We believe that today it is necessary to continue this tradition of testing of the experimental textbooks, we have a special network of Federal innovative and experimental grounds,” — said Vasilyev.
Thursday, June 15, during a straight line President Vladimir Putin proposed to consider the introduction of basic school textbooks.
Earlier, on 5 June, the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko stated the need for a new line of textbooks on the Russian language, which should be more considered, evidence-based and comprehensible to students. At the present time, according to Matvienko, manuals in Russian language too much and they are made of poor quality.
