MOSCOW, June 15. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that only Russian citizens can determine who will lead the country.
During the “Straight line” the head of state himself chose from the list the question of whom he plans “to leave behind”.
“First, I’m still working,” said Putin. Secondly, he drew attention, “it must identify the voter, the Russian people”.
“I, of course, once determined, do not see anything shameful to say that my preference is so-and-so formulated,” the President said. “But we must not forget that the voter, a Russian citizen, only he can determine who will lead the regions, specific district, city, region or country,” – said Putin.
