Oliver stone is a talented Director, but it can be difficult to convey the position of Moscow in his film about Russian President Vladimir Putin, said the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov. His words on Tuesday, June 13, the correspondent of “Tape.ru”.
“We know that in the US and partly in Europe, dominated by Russophobic sentiments, bordering on political schizophrenia. In that state of sharp aggravation it will be difficult to explain something,” — said Peskov.
The representative of the Kremlin believes that the chances of Moscow to be heard in the West will rise, when from the audience, “there will come a remission”.
“We haven’t seen [the film], but stone is a talented Director. From his pen could not get out of substandard material,” — said Peskov.
Oliver stone, who worked on the painting for two years, explained that he created a film about Vladimir Putin to the USA has heard and understood the other point of view. One of its goals is to prevent further deterioration of relations between Moscow and Washington.
The premiere of the film “Interview with Putin” (The Moscow Interviews), dedicated to the President of Russia, took place on Showtime June 12. In Russia, the picture will show the First channel. The film, in which four of the series, will be broadcast from 19 to 22 June.
