The participants of the second stage of the active phase of the exercises “Slavic brotherhood – 2017” on the Belarusian site of Brest on Tuesday for the first time over a three year period of holding these maneuvers worked for the destruction of conditional terrorists and the liberation of occupied real object – waterworks near Brest. This was reported on Tuesday to journalists by the chief of staff – first Deputy commander VDV of Russia the General-Lieutenant Nikolay Ignatov, who was present at the exercises as a military observer.
“On maneuvers “Slavic brotherhood – 2017″ a number of events were held for the first time. For the first time formed a multinational battalion-size tactical group (MBTG), which for the first time today worked out an operation to destroy the terrorist groups and the release of the captured real object of life-support – hydraulic structures, prepared by them to destruction,” – said the first Deputy commander.
