In Moscow after the uncoordinated action of the opposition detained more than 150 people
MOSCOW, June 12 — RIA Novosti. After the number of detainees held in Moscow uncoordinated action of the opposition was 150 people, reported RIA Novosti, the official representative of Russian Ministry of internal Affairs of Irina Volk.
In uncoordinated public action on Tverskaya street in Moscow was attended by about 4.5 thousand people, reported on the website of the interior Ministry.
“In the capital are events and festivities dedicated to the celebration of Day of Russia, they have involved more than 2.5 million people, including in the center of Moscow on Tverskaya street — more than 270 thousand people, of which about 4.5 thousand participated in uncoordinated public action,” the message reads.
In Moscow on Monday was agreed a protest rally on Prospekt Akademika Sakharova, according to the latest data of the Department of the interior in the capital, and was attended by about 1,800 people, although the organizers applied for 15 thousand. The opposition leader Alexei Navalny urged people to change their place of coordinated action on Tverskaya street, where the festival took place, a political meeting was not agreed. The mayor’s office said these appeals provocation, and the Prosecutor’s office reminded of the responsibility for such actions.
Moscow police, according to the Moi of the capital, was detained on Monday, Navalny calls for participation in an unsanctioned rally in Central Moscow, which is a repeated violation of article of the administrative code, as well as for disobedience to law enforcement.
