In Moscow the premiere of “Dislike” Zvyagintsev
The film Andrei Zvyagintsev’s “Dislike”, which won the jury prize at the Cannes film festival, was released in domestic rentals. Russian premiere of the film was held in Moscow cinema “October”, RIA Novosti reported on Thursday, June 1.
The show was attended by, in particular, the adviser of the President of Russia on culture Vladimir Tolstoy, the Director of the Department of cinematography of the Ministry of culture Vyacheslav Telnov, Director Pavel Chukhrai, Alexey Uchitel and Yuri Bykov, singer Dmitry Malikov, and the actors Vladimir Vdovichenkov, Chulpan Khamatova and Elena Lyadova.
Zvyagintsev before the show made a short speech: “I’m an actor by training, there is activity — study, the observation of the behavior of people in General — see film”.
It is noted that the Russian premiere is dated for Day of protection of children.
Earlier in may “Dislike” presented at the Cannes film festival. The audience met the band a standing ovation. The film tells of a married couple (Maria Spivak and Aleksey Rozin) in the midst of a difficult divorce. Their 12-year-old son Alyosha (Matvey Novikov) runs away from home.
