Rosobrnadzor: every tenth Russian language teacher does not speak the subject

MOSCOW, April 27. /TASS/. More than 10% of teachers of the Russian language as its subject after the pedagogical University. This was announced by the head of Rosobrnadzor Sergey Kravtsov at the General meeting of members of the Russian Academy of education.
“It is important to develop teacher certification and professional examination after the completion of pedagogical universities, because, as our research has shown that more than 11% of the teachers experience problems with the Russian language, mathematics,” — said Kravtsov.
“We see that at the end of the pedagogical University is not always the teacher’s own subject matter, teaching methodology, and hence many of the problems in teaching these subjects,” — said the head of Department.
