Sorokin: the System of video replays may remain on the Russian stadiums after the world Cup 2018

The Russian side is discussing with the International Federation of football Association (FIFA) the ability to save on the stadiums that will host matches of the 2018 world Cup, a system of video replays after the world championship. About TASS reported the General Director of the organizing Committee “Russia 2018” Alexey Sorokin.
On Wednesday, the President of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, said that at the world Cup in Russia will be used videophotos of arbitrators (VAR — Video Assistant Referee).
“Yes, the VAR system will be used at the world Cup. Will the system on the Russian stadiums after the tournament? We are discussing now”, — commented on the situation Sorokin.
Earlier it became known that VAR will be installed on the four stadiums that will host matches of the confederations Cup 2017 in Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Kazan and Sochi. Deputy Prime Minister, the head of the tournament organizing Committee Vitaly Mutko told TASS that the Russian football Union (RFU) wants to keep the system in the arena and use it in the championship.
The world Cup will be held from 14 June to 15 July 2018 12 stadiums in 11 cities of Russia: Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk, Sochi, Kaliningrad, Yekaterinburg, and Rostov-on-don, Volgograd and Samara.
