MOSCOW, April 24. /TASS/. Moscow urges EU to focus on real, not imaginary security threats. This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov at the opening of the talks with EU high representative for foreign Affairs and security policy Federica Mogherini.
“I Express my appreciation to the foreign service of the EU for the condolences in connection with the attack in Saint-Petersburg. This inhuman act is in line with other terrorist crimes, which reached other European cities, – said Lavrov. Is so visible the need to focus on our shared real threats, not imaginary security risks”.
“Relations between Russia and the West are going through a difficult period. Continue to focus on restoring full-fledged cooperation with the EU, our largest trading partner, he said. – Have repeatedly expressed our principled willingness to normalize relations at a pace which will be acceptable for the EU.”
