In Washington doubted the possibility to divide the Rio Grande wall

Ryan Zinke

The wall that separates the United States from Mexico, maybe not all over to be solid. This was announced by the head of the American Ministry of internal Affairs Ryan Zinke, his words reports Politico.

“The border is a complicated matter, one wall is not enough. For example, the Rio Grande — which side of the river to put this wall?” asked the Minister of interior. According to him, the US does not intend to erect a fence on their territory and thus to give Mexico the whole river, but to build it in the water too.

Zinke concluded that in some places, the electronic control of the border can be more effective than physical barriers.

The US President Donald trump has signed the decree about the protection of state borders, involving the construction of a wall on the border with Mexico, 25 January. He promised that construction will begin soon, but the exact time is not indicated. The President also said that the work will be funded from the U.S. budget over time, however, Mexico city compensates all costs.
