State Duma Deputy Vitaly Milonov (“United Russia”) considered the decision of the Kyiv to deny him entry to Ukraine as a proof that it is functioning properly. The parliamentarian cites RIA Novosti on Wednesday, March 29.
“To be in the black list of Ukrainian along with people, whom I respect immensely, is a kind of praise” — said Milonov. He noted that Ukraine has become similar to “Euromale”, so in any case he would prefer not to go.
In comments to TASS, the Deputy admitted that he was ashamed that he expressed earlier, the comparison of Ukraine with the state of Gabon. “Gabon is definitely more civilized and safe country,” he said.
Milonov suggested that the ban on entry is that he regularly visits Donetsk city of Gorlovka.
“I promise SBU (security Service of Ukraine — approx. “Ribbon.ru”) more frequently and carefully to be on the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk Republic, to make every effort to ensure that SBU and volunteer corps nedorezanny the Nazis as less able to inflict damage on civilians,” — said the parliamentarian TV channel “360”.
Earlier Wednesday it was reported that the SBU banned Milonova entry to Ukraine. The reasons for this decision are not called.
On March 13, the Deputy said he was willing to protect in Kiev singer Yulia Samoylova, who were to take part in the musical contest “Eurovision”. “It also had to guess — the girl send one this Gabon”, — he said at the time.
That the SBU has banned entry to Ukraine of Yulia Samoilova became known on March 22. In Moscow, the decision called unfair.
