MOSCOW. March 28. /TASS/. Several famous Directors who participated in the ceremony of delivery of film awards “Nika” and urged the authorities to listen to the opinion of the participants of the unauthorized protest rallies against corruption, held in Russia last weekend.
Protest, the main slogan of which was the fight against corruption, were held last Sunday in nearly 100 cities of Russia. Despite the fact that in most cities, including Moscow, the authorities are not agreed on the shares, the opposition called on their supporters to take to the streets. In several cities protesters after refusing to disperse, the police detained hundreds of people against some were drawn up protocols on administrative violations. Some politicians after protests drew the attention that the participants were a significant number of very young people — high school students and undergraduate students that are not actively involved in political protests.

“Our main task is not to discuss political contexts. We must do everything for human development of young people,” he added.
In turn, the winner of the “Nika” in the nomination “discovery of the year”, the Creator of the movie “the Collector” Alexey Krasovsky, the scene called for the film community in some way affect the fate of the detained rally participants. “I want to ask you to use your power to change something in their lives”, he said.
It was supported by the head of the theatre “Lenkom” mark Zakharov. “I am happy that Krasovsky said about some of our painful and difficult problems of our life,” he said.
He drew attention to the hard, in his opinion, actions of law enforcement bodies of the young in mass campaigns, especially against girls and women. “I appeal to MPs: let’s make a law prohibiting the arrest and actually touch the women and girls involved in the mass actions”, — said the Director.
Sokurov was supported by Director Alexander Mitta, winner of the special prize “Nika” “For outstanding contribution to Russian cinema.” “I share the alarm and despair, we are all worried about how to grow our generation to have grown under our care, and not Scarecrow,” said MITT.
