In the North-East coast of Australia were hit by cyclone “Debbie”

MOSCOW, 28 Mar — RIA Novosti. Cyclone “Debbie” hit the North-Eastern state of Queensland Australia, according to the Australia Bureau of meteorology.

Earlier, the meteorological office warned that the storm could be the worst since 2011, when the country was threatened by tropical cyclone “Yasi”. The Bureau has assigned the storm the second category. The hardest element may strike at Mackay.

The result of the approaching cyclone is already one person died, more than 30 thousands were told to evacuate their homes, the international airport and Townsville suspended.
