Who is Denis Boronenkov
The former Deputy of the state Duma Denis Voronenkov was shot in Kiev, near the entrance of the hotel “Premier Palace”.
Former state Duma Deputy from the Communist Denis Boronenkov shot in the center of Kiev. The murder occurred on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Shevchenko Boulevard and Pushkinskaya street. According to the Ukrainian edition of “Vesti”, Boronenkov, was shot dead near the hotel “Premier Palace” when the ex-Deputy came out along with the guard. Denis Voronenkov was born in a military family, which, by his own admission, constantly “drove around” until seven years he lived in Gorky (now Nizhni Novgorod), and in Petrozavodsk, Minsk, Kiev and Leningrad. At age 15 he entered the Suvorov military school and the Military University of the Ministry of defence of the Russian Federation. Before becoming a parliamentarian, Boronenkov has worked exclusively in the public service: the Military Prosecutor’s office, the state Duma, the Supreme court and Deputy mayor of Naryan-Mar and Deputy head of administration of Nenets Autonomous district. From 1995 to 1999, he served in various positions in bodies of Military Prosecutor’s office, in his own words — investigator, senior investigator, assistant Prosecutor and Deputy Prosecutor.
Voronenkov has become a state Duma Deputy from the Communist party in 2011. In the lower house he was a member of the Committee for security and combating corruption was the Central Committee of the Communist party. In addition, he oversaw the Management of the international Congress of Industrialists and entrepreneurs on cooperation with the Government and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. In 2016, Boronenkov also participated in the elections, but as a single-seat districts, not on the party list. Re-election to the state Duma of the seventh convocation, he could not.

The defendant in criminal cases

According to media reports, in April 2001, Boronenkov was detained when receiving a bribe in $10 thousand from entrepreneur Eugene Trostentsov for lobbying his interests in the Duma, but in July of the same year the case was closed. In addition, businesswoman Anna Atkin Boronenkov accused of involvement in the murder of her business partner Andrei Burlakov.
Boronenkov denies the charges, but admitted that in the middle zero “lawfully engaged in the business” associated with real estate. “Nothing new came up — it is cheaper to buy, expensive to sell, earn the difference”, — he explained the essence of the work, without going into details.
The character of gossip
At the end of March 2015, the Deputy-the Communist became the hero of gossip: Boronenkov staged the big wedding, married to the Deputy from “United Russia”, the Opera singer Maria Maksakova. At the celebration were invited to 1 thousand guests, including the then Chairman of the state Duma Sergei Naryshkin, the singer and Deputy Joseph Kobzon, singer Nikolai Baskov and others. In April 2016 the couple had “sectarian first child.”
According to Boronenkov, lush wedding insisted Maksakova. “She told me she’s getting married for the first and only time,” he said in an interview. At that time the Opera singer turned 37 years old, and her chosen one is 43 years. And the media wrote that before Voronenkov was already married and by his first marriage he left three children.
The defector
In October 2016, Boronenkov and Maksakova, at the time the current MPs, went from Moscow to Kiev. In January 2017, it became known that Voronenkov testified to the authorities of Ukraine on the case of former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych. 15 Feb Voronenkov was declared the Federal wanted list on charges of fraud. The Moscow city court on 29 March had to check the legality of correspondence arrest Boronenkov. However, the criminal case against former MP, killed today in Kiev, may be terminated if it receives an official confirmation of his death and with the consent of the relatives.
