The bodies of over 60 victims pulled from the rubble of destroyed buildings in Mosul

MOSCOW, 26 Mar — RIA Novosti. Body 61 of a man was recovered from under the rubble of the fallen building in Iraq’s Mosul, reports Reuters, citing a military statement.

According to local residents, during the fighting from the building were shooting the militants of the terrorist group “Islamic state”*, and later they were escorted to the basement people, rigged the building to use it as a “live shield”, the statement said command.

Representatives of the coalition said that airstrikes carried out in the area of construction, but the building was destroyed not as a result of air operations.
